Plasti Dip can make an awful look of your vehicle if it has scratches or become too old if your car has this problem the best option is to remove plasti dip. Here I will guide you how to remove plasti dip in several ways so follow this guide properly and apply it in case if it happens with your car.
Removing plasti dip without chemical liquids – Peeling
This is one of my favorite methods apply this method only if plasti dip was applied correctly. Start peeling from the corner pull out plasti dip using your fingers with force. Do not leave any sign of plasti dip when you finished with peeling so try to pull it slowly.
Despite all of your efforts, if you still see signs of plasti dip don`t worry you can wash it with (wd-40) water-displacing spray, you can also use the microfiber cloth to clean leftover plasti dip. And make sure you have checked all hidden locations like hood edges, doors, or the underside of the car, usually thin plasti dip applied in these locations so it will come off easily.
Lifting off plasti dip with chemical liquid – (WD-40)
WD-40 is a company produce spray that can remove rust from metals, penetrate stuck parts or displace moisture. It can be found at any general store or you can buy it online from Amazon. WD-40 will make your job easy and fast in removing plasti dip.
First stroke wd-40 within plasti dip using the microfiber cloth, and then slowly move towel or cloth all over plasti dip locations. leave wd-40 for five minutes and then start wiping out plasti dip with a microfiber cloth and you will see it will come off easily. If see any plasti dip leftover apply the same method as in peeling.
Always wash out your vehicle with soap and water after applying any of the above methods after removing plasti dip.
